Manchester, amongst other things, famous for it’s choon-age, should also be famous for it’s signage.

This old factory frontage in the arts district (new-age) is a deco stone rampage!

I may be coming at this from the wrong angle, but seeing as the hand of the creator has featured in recent posts (and we’re good mates with dog) I thought I’d push my luck.

I just lost my second Moleskin notebook in a week. Gutted. It’s one of our most valuable tools at O Street, and it’s amazing how much of our work is created on its girded pages. Above is a sketch (scribbled on the train to Edinburgh) of the toilet icons we devised for the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, and below is how they ended up looking in the final signage system.
