gone with the wind

Okay, so it’s windy. Schools and offices are closed. Parties are cancelled. Things are falling and people may be hurt but they’ve closed all the doctors surgeries. And the banks, they are also closed. Perhaps this is because all the money has blown away?

My colleague David is leaving now but the trains to Helensburgh have been cancelled and he will have to walk. It’s a westerly wind so that would be easier if he lived to the east of the city but he’s a tough customer. I hope we see him and his little dog Toto again some day. Who knows, perhaps he will find his lost moleskine notebook out there with the other things the wind has taken?
